 🧠 Introducing Long-Term Mindset 3.0

Friends,

This newsletter has been an ongoing experiment since day 1.

The goal of this newsletter has always been to encourage readers to think long-term. That’s because I firmly believe that thinking long-term can dramatically improve the most important areas of your life, most notably:

  • Your wealth
  • Your health (both mental and physical)
  • Your relationships

That’s why I’m excited to announce a few small tweaks to this newsletter that will make it even better (while still maintaining its simplicity).

First, each newsletter will now contain 5 sections:

  1. One simple graphic: The same as they have always been
  2. One piece of timeless content: A short summary of a great podcast, article, video, talk, or book that stands the test of time.
  3. One Twitter thread: A link to an insightful Twitter thread that makes readers smarter, happier, healthier, or richer.
  4. One resource: A link to a website, tool, or online resource that is a hidden gem.
  5. One quote: We’ll end with one of our favorite quotes on money, happiness, health, or life.

Second, my friend (and YouTube partner) Brian Stoffel will help me to create the content that we post each week. That will minimize the number of typos that slip through.

We hope that you like the small changes.

As always, feedback is most welcome. You can reach me directly on Twitter.

We hope you enjoy Long-Term Mindset 3.0.

Brian Feroldi & Brian Stoffel

One Piece Of Timeless Content

A classic article by Morgan Housel: 50 reasons to be an optimist.

One Twitter Thread:

A wonderful thread by 10k-Diver on asset prices, inflation, and interest rates:

1/ Get a cup of coffee. In this thread, I'll walk you through the various connections between asset prices, interest rates, and inflation. As an investor, it's useful to have a mental picture of how these pieces affect -- and are affected by -- one another. pic.twitter.com/EnnF6OVXNN

One Resource:

I switched my default search engine to Ecosia a few years ago. Now my searches are used to fund the planting of trees (my searches have planted about 323 trees so far).

One Quote:

“The man who asks a question is a fool for a minute, the man who does not ask is a fool for life.” - Confucius
